Alex Wilson

Alex Wilson joined AEON Biopharma in August 2021 as General Counsel and has since assumed roles of increasing responsibility, currently serving as Chief Legal & Strategy Officer and Corporate Secretary. In this role, he leads the company’s legal, corporate governance, and strategic initiatives, including risk management, corporate development, and key business transactions that support AEON’s long-term growth strategy.

Prior to joining AEON, Alex served as Associate General Counsel, Business Development & Sustainability at Glaukos Corporation, an ophthalmic pharmaceutical and medical technology company. At Glaukos, he played a key role in business development and strategic transactions and was responsible for a range of enterprise matters, including capital markets activities, SEC reporting, and ESG initiatives.

Earlier in his career, Alex was Counsel in the Newport Beach office of O’Melveny & Myers LLP, where his practice focused on mergers and acquisitions, capital markets transactions, and corporate governance matters for public and private companies across a range of industries, including life sciences, manufacturing, and technology.

Alex received a B.S. in Business Management from Brigham Young University and a J.D. from the UCLA School of Law, where he was a Dean’s Scholar.
